I am a regular contributor to WHO SMARTED?, a humorous educational podcast from the creators of National Geographic's BRAIN GAMES and Netflix's BRAINCHILD.
I have written numerous scripts for WHO SMARTED? since its debut in late 2020. Most of these covered topics that I pitched. These episodes can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio and other streaming services.
WHO SMARTED? has been named a top podcast for kids by both The New York Times and TODAY.

During my time as a stay-at-home dad, I wrote, illustrated, and self-published ANIMAL BITES, a three-book series aimed at children ages 3 to 7. For each of these picture books, I took a news story and created a fictional tale around it. "The True Story" appears at the end of each book.
THE HIPPO ON THE LOOSE is about a hippo who leaves home and roams a town.
THE MOUSE IN THE MONEY is about a mouse who makes a home inside an ATM.
THE BEAR IN THE TREE is about a bear who wants to be a bird and ends up in a tree.

As a new parent, I dabbled in blogging, maintaining a (mostly) weekly and (somewhat) humorous blog called DAVE WEEKLY. The blog covered the last few months of my youth, the joys of becoming parents, and the insanity that comes with being a stay-at-home dad, all with a lot of bad (or should I say "dad") jokes.

This is where my career began. I started as a teleprompter operator on CNN International in Atlanta, became a writer, copy editor, and line producer at CNN Headline News, and eventually landed in New York, where I wrote and line produced for CNN's ANDERSON COOPER 360.
